SUMMERVILLE, SC, UNITED STATES, November 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Americana singer-songwriter David Perry returns with a vibrant new single, “Here They Come”, which will be released on all streaming services November 6th, 2026. Recorded at Charleston South Carolina's Truphonic Studios, with Elliott Elsey as engineer, it is the follow up to his sophomore studio album, “Standing In Standing Water”. The track bridges Lowcountry roots storytelling with a rhythmic global heartbeat and poignant message.— David Perry
Inspired by the Theravada Buddhist Monks’ “Walk For Peace”, Perry called on legendary Charleston, South Carolina percussionist Gino Castillo to provide the Latin flavored landscape. John Kennedy’s flowing bass line interweaves with John Holenko’s intricate guitar work to make the number mellow as well as contemplative. The song acts as a meditation on unity and peace, and culminates in an uplifting vocal mantra that delivers the ultimate message of the track, “Love Can Open Any Door”.
“It is my hope this song will be a gentle reminder that a simple idea can change things, gather momentum and make a difference.” Perry said.
